Joined the IPTV/OTT operations project during a challenging transition period, taking ownership after a minor platform upgrade and preparation for a subsequent major upgrade. Worked across a complex, highly redundant environment involving numerous servers, network segments, VLANs, and interconnected systems.
Took ownership of an environment with limited documentation and significant loss of institutional knowledge. Reconstructed the technical landscape, coordinated preparation and testing, and worked closely with Verimatrix engineering to plan and execute the upgrade with minimal service disruption.
Successfully executed the production upgrade and pre-/post-upgrade testing, using the platform’s redundancy to perform controlled phased shutdowns while maintaining service availability. The successful delivery and growing ownership of the environment contributed to the subsequent expansion of the team and my progression to Video Team Leader / Acting Project Manager.

As Founder, Information Security Consultant, virtual/fractional CISO, I provide executive-level cybersecurity leadership for organizations that need experienced security direction without the cost of a full-time CISO.
My approach is simple: cybersecurity should enable the business, not become theatre. No unnecessary complexity, endless checklists or security for the sake of security — just the right level of protection, governance and assurance for the organization’s actual risks and objectives.
Direction — defining cybersecurity strategy, priorities and risk-based roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Structure — establishing practical governance, GRC, risk management, policies, controls and security programs that support sustainable growth.
Assurance — providing independent oversight, security maturity and risk assessments, audit and regulatory readiness, executive reporting and resilience planning.
The vCISO function can also cover the broader security and GRC needs that sit around these areas — from third-party risk and compliance requirements to incident readiness, business continuity and security improvement.
With 17+ years of experience across enterprise technology, telecommunications, software delivery and cybersecurity, I help leadership turn complex security challenges into clear priorities, practical action and measurable improvement.
Direction. Structure. Assurance.
